Information regarding KAT-TUN
STARTO ENTERTAINMENT Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Fukuda Atsushi, hereinafter referred to as "our company") would like to announce that KAT-TUN will officially disband as of March 31, 2025.
KAT-TUN signed a contract with our company on April 2024 to continue with their activities, however, after approximately a year of discussions with the members, it has been decided that rather than renewing their contract for a second year starting April 1, 2025, it would be best for each member to move forward on their own individual paths, and thus the group will stop its activities.
As for the future, Kamenashi Kazuya will leave the company upon the contract’s expiration on March 31 and Ueda Tatsuya and Nakamru Yuichi will continue their contracts with the company as individual artists.
To all the fans and affiliates who have supported KAT-TUN over the past 25 years, we express our deepest gratitude.
Although the group will officially disband on March 31, the members have expressed a strong desire to create an opportunity to meet with fans in the near future. We are currently working on making this a reality, and details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

For 25 years since our formation, we have received your unwavering support; thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
KAT-TUN has experienced many ups and downs, but we have been able to continue our journey solely because of you. We are deeply grateful.
As circumstances have being changing, the three of us have spent over a year and a half discussing the future of the group.
We regret that our decision may bring sadness to our fans, and for that, we sincerely apologize. However, we will continue our activities with pride as KAT-TUN until the very end.
Additionally, we are currently in discussions to create a special opportunity to meet with you again so ee would be truly grateful if you could continue supporting Kamenashi Kazuya, Ueda Tatsuya, and Nakamaru Yuichi.

What a sad announce :'( It is a situation that could happen, but is very sad to assimilate the end of our favorite j-pop group. Only I want to wish the best for all the members in their individual careers and enjoy every day all the nice music they give to us
